Wedding at Villa Petrolo – Tuscany – Italy

Dan and Michelle: their love for Tuscany, their dreams about their wedding day related by the bride Michelle!

“When Dan and I got engaged last year while living abroad in Bermuda, we both decided that we wanted to celebrate with a small group of family and friends at a destination. Tuscany was the perfect setting, neither of us have travelled to Tuscany before, but we both knew in our hearts that it would be a magical wedding! Because I am a graphic designer, I was really excited to design and make all of the details for the wedding. All of the decor was made and curated by myself: hand-dyed silk ribbons for the flowers, written calligraphy on canvas signs, table menus and also the guest favours. I was inspired by the natural surroundings of Petrolo, which has endless vineyards and olive trees, and I wanted to stick to an organic, green and romantic feel. The wedding day was absolutely beautiful, with gorgeous florals from La Gardenia (fioristalagardenia.it), Lelia’s (leliascarfiotti.com) magic through her photography and the incredible talent and hard work from Katia…it was absolutely perfect!”
